Hey everyone!
Well, I finished my first week in the field. I can't believe that
it's already been a week here! Sacramento is so beautiful and I love
it here already. Today it's 90 degrees ☺✌🏼I'm loving this weather so
far and it's not even summer yet. It gets really hot here in the
summer☀️ I'm on my new iPad now! It's awesome to be able to have
access to so many things on it and be able to share things to people
in just a couple of seconds. So my first companion is pretty
awesome...I love her already. Her name is Hermana Woodbury, which is
funny because I'm from Woodbury, CT. Everyone thinks it's fate or
something lol.

So of course I was sad to leave the CCM but I was ready to get out
for sure 👍🏼 Me and 4 others from my district 12B left last Tuesday
morning and had to wake up at like 1am. So it was a really long day. I
got to sit by Elder Bowers and Hermana Jordan on the first flight
which was nice. Then we had a 2 hour and 30 min layover. So I get on
my second flight to Sacramento and I'm on it waiting to take off and
something was wrong so they tried to check it and then it ended up
taking 2 hrs and finally we had to all get out of the plane and go to
a different plane. It stunk.....we sat and waited for so long. So
finally we left Dallas for Sacramento. I got to talk to a couple of
people on the plane about being a missionary so that was good. I
finally got to Sacramento and I meet my mission president and his
wife. They are so awesome! I love them already! I got to stay at their
home that night which was nice.

Wednesday all us new missionaries got to go to the mission office
and meet our new trainers. It was great. That day was interesting and
Hermana Woodbury showed me the area and we had a couple of lessons to
teach. It was different but really great. My trainer thinks I'm
amazing at Spanish and everyone in my ward thinks I'm really good too
so I was so surprised haha. I think the hardest thing so far is just
understanding all the Spanish people here. But luckily most of them
speak English too.

Our zone here is pretty awesome too. I'm glad to know so many cool
people here. They're all really funny. The thing I like most about
being here in the field is that our time isn't so crazy and we don't
have a super busy schedule planned out for us every day like the CCM.
We have more free time to do what we want like visit members and study
more. Everyone is so great here.

My first p-day has gone super well. It's nice to get a break! Thanks
everybody for your love and support...it means a lot! You're so
awesome! Talk to you all next week. Adios!

Hermana Scott
